Type Posters

This project focused on creating a series of poster designs that communicate the fundamentals of typography. I completed this brief during my second-year Communication Design Studio unit at Monash University. The series of A3 posters explored three key typographic terms: terminal, waist, and spine. I used colour, layout and geometric shapes to create visually engaging compositions that clearly highlighted each typographic feature while maintaining a strong visual hierarchy. By balancing clarity with creativity, I explored how graphic design can make technical concepts more accessible and engaging. This project strengthened my skills in typography, composition, visual communication and Adobe Illustrator, while demonstrating my ability to communicate complex design principles through bold and effective visual outcomes.
