The Busy Box

During my final years of VCE I decided to complete the VCE Product Design & Technology course early in year 10 & 11. With the necessary marks I was able to accelerate my VCE and explore my passion for design. I thoroughly enjoyed this subject and would highly recommend it. For my final project in the course I developed a folio. For this, I designed a sustainable children's toy box with a fine motor skill development system built in. Receiving high marks for this final outcome I was able to not only practise my ideation skills but I also managed to build on my practical skills by manufacturing this product by hand and the assistance of some machinery (e.g. CNC, 3D printers, laser cutters, and hand tools). Overall, I really enjoyed this project and am proud of the final outcome.
